We talk mostly about the things we love most and are most excited about. That’s why it’s so easy to identify Christians whose ‘First Love’ is God and how we can judge our own walk with God by the things we talk about. But it’s easy to make other things in our lives our gods — even good things like relationships or our careers. It’s a constant battle to keep God first in our hearts.
