So why is Scotty having a former segment director for Jimmy Kimmel Live! as a guest on his horror podcast? Well, aside from being one of his oldest friends, Maureen Bharoocha is also the director of two Lifetime Network thrillers, along with the upcoming teen horror/comedy "The Prank" (March 15, from Iconic Events).

Scotty and Maureen talk about her upbringing in a mixed Catholic/Muslim household, their time in film school together as argumentative "natural contrarians," Maureen's uncanny ability to turn a job at an upscale Beverly Hills bakery into a legitimate filmmaking career, how making "women in peril" movies for Lifetime is sort of like the modern-day Roger Corman school of low-budget filmmaking, how she thinks about the balance between horror and comedy, what it's like giving notes to movie legends like Keith David and Rita Moreno, and a whole lot more.
