One of my FAVORITE romantic comedies is Crazy, Stupid, Love. It’s brilliant. It’s funny. It’s full of unexpected surprises. I highly recommend it. And in that movie, Steve Carell, who plays the main character, describes his wife as the perfect combination of sexy and cute. It’s a superficial, but incredibly sweet compliment all at the same time. And I think it’s a compliment many of us would love to receive from our significant other.

But sometimes, we have body insecurities that make it really difficult to actually feel that way. I don’t know what area or areas you might be hung up on, hopefully none! But if you do have some physical features you’d rather not highlight when getting dressed, I have a hunch one of them might be your midsection. And if so, you’re not alone. Surveys have shown that 4 in 5 women worry about the appearance of their belly and their waist.
