Meet Your Hosts
GaGa Gabardi GaGa Gabardi and Judilee Butler:
Both GaGa and Judilee have reinvented retirement life for writing, at the pace of a book per year. Their first book, The Last Hurrah A Phoebe Korneal Mystery, features the death of Old Al. Death by natural causes? After all, we call him OLD Al. In the second book, The Last Slide A Phoebe Korneal Mystery, a woman near death off a mountain road in a huge snowstorm. She's just a bad driver or is something more sinister behind the discovery? In the third book, The last Line A Phoebe Korneal Mystery, an accidental death on a zipline and a kidnapping? Or could it be a prank gone bad? Our gal Phoebe rises to the occasion in each story to look beneath the surface. Is there a crime here or a bad case of no harm, no foul?
Books available: Amazon, The Book Nook and Once Upon a Trapeze (Buena Vista, CO), Leadville Mining Museum (Leadville AKA Oresville, CO), Two Dogs Market (Leadville AKA Oresville, CO), and directly via the authors!

Janice Pratt
Since I can remember, I have been a reader, often having several books going at the same time. If anyone was my teacher, it was the wonderful authors who shared their hearts and souls with me through their stories. I laughed, cried, dreamed, and learned from the stories they shared. My first published story was in 1999 and was a short story in a book of stories about children and the crazy things they do. While it was just a couple of thousand words, I remember the excitement of being accepted into the world of authors.
Today I work on stories that talk about the amazing power that children have and the mark they can make on the world. I hope to inspire children to feel into their truth and know that they can make a difference. If just one word, one paragraph, or one story can change a child’s life, I too feel like I have made a difference in the world.
Thank you for reading my stories. I am eternally grateful.
