As a former sedentary, over-weight, smoker, David Richman knew that he needed to focus not on what others wanted out of him, but on what he wanted out of life. Through lessons learned in business and sport, David introduces the concept of the “middle of the pack” and discusses how to get more out of ourselves than ever imagined. He applies this concept to life and business and adds value to the people he works with coming from the perspective of the “middle of the pack.”
David shares the steps we need to take to go from where we are at to where we want to be in our lives. To get to our destination we need to have a point A and David's plan will provide you with easy to follow steps towards clarity.
He is the author of Cycle of Lives: 15 People's Stories, 5,000 Miles, and a Journey Through the Emotional Chaos of Cancer.
100% of all net proceeds of his book go to charity.
Learn about his amazing trek on a bicycle and how that trek formed the contents of the book.
" I made my way across and up the United States, covering 4,700 miles, and visited the participants of my book, which chronicles the lives of 15 people who were affected by cancer, either as patients, doctors, researchers, caregivers, or otherwise. These poignant, significant, meaningful, helpful stories cover many aspects of cancer: caregiving and research, emotional and intellectual journeys, various stages of life, and more, so that combined, these memoirs will give us a complete view of the human experience as it relates to cancer."
I loved recording this episode and trust that you will enjoy it as well.
