Violence and chaos reached a new low on the Fourth of July in Downtown St. Louis, with seven people shot or wounded by gunfire, property damage to downtown buildings, and rampant fighting using fireworks as weapons. Trump attorney Will Scharf is looking to unseat Bailey, who was appointed to the position by Governor Parson, after former Attorney General Eric Schmitt was elected to the U.S. Senate. The primary is now 30 days away.
