Here we go!
You’re not alone in fear.
In fact George Addair put it this way…
"Everything you’ve ever wanted is on the other side of fear.”

Yep. Everything.
Fear of rejection kept me from doing some cool things.
Fear of failure kept me from trying some new things.
Fear of looking stupid kept me from trying my hand at it.
Fear of success kept me from going even harder.

Fear and courage. Can you have one without the other?

Might I propose that fear keeps us back from courage?
And attempting anything takes courage!

Vincent Van Gogh put it this way: ”What would life be if we had no courage to attempt anything?”

So my friends what do you do when fear is killing your courage? When that thing is front of you is BIG and GREEN and UGLY? When your next move is scary. When you don’t know if it’s gonna work or go the way you want. When success isn’t 100% guaranteed?

Do you run and hide? NO! Not you. At least stand firm. Don’t loose ground. Don’t retreat. Don’t give an inch backwards. Even if it’s not time to take that next step, standing firm is a victory. And once you are ready… let er’ rip! Run after that thing. Go for it. Come out screaming and yelling and charging. I get it. It may take a minute to have an internal dialogue as you push back fear in your mind. Once that has happened it might take a minute to muster up the courage to move. Then and then… my friends… don’t wait. That’s when it’s time to act. To do. To give it you all. So here’s to you staring down the BIG GREEN UGLY thing in your life today. You’ve got this. We are all cheering for you. You’re not alone!
