Heb 11:6, Faith is the only way to respond to Jesus and be pleasing to God. I want you to understand clearly what faith is, how you get faith, how you grow in faith. You must seek through the Scriptures, pray (talk to God) to hear His Word. Faith comes from hearing God's Word---AND ACCEPTING GOD"S WORD IN YOUR HEART TO FAITH! You must accept God's Word into your heart to faith for SALVATION! Then the Spirit of God's Words, Christ, creates in you a new heart, the SPIRIT lives in your new heart and you are a Child of God! It takes more than just believing in God, even the devil and his demons beleive in God, but you must believe and invite His Spirit, Christ, into your heart and receive the New Born Again Heart from God (Ezekiel 36:26) and you will immediately know when it happens because you will change inside completely!!. Then you will have the confidence to speak up, share clearly with confidence and explain faith to any of your family, other loved ones, friends and strangers you meet throughout the day! Faith comes from, hearing God's Word, asking forgiveness of your sins and then inviting His Word(spirit of Christ) to come in and create in you the new heart! Every Christian should know how to explain to anyone how they too can have the same capability of responding to God's Word in faith to receive Christ into their heart to be pleasing to God! Helping others to become pleasing to God and receiving Christ into their heart for salvation should be one of our greatest goals, Proverbs 11:30, "The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise." And in Daniel 12:3, "And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars forever and ever!"
