Do you ever wish that you could have a glimpse into eternity? What will it be like? Is it worth the struggle today, to spend eternity with God on the other side … or not?

I suspect that pretty much anyone who’s ever set out to live their life for Jesus has asked themselves that. Is it all really worth it?

Not an unreasonable question. Some days the temptation’s so strong simply to go with the flow – to eat, drink and be merry, to succumb to the dishonesty, the pride, the immorality, all that stuff that’s become the norm in our world today.

Wouldn’t that just be easier than struggling along to love the unlovable, to serve those who don’t deserve it, to forgive those who’ve hurt us … and not just that, but to turn the other cheek, to go the extra mile? Wouldn’t that just be easier?

To help you answer those questions for yourself, here, today, is your glimpse into eternity:

Revelation 7:9,10 Then I looked, and there was a large crowd of people. There were so many people that no one could count them all. They were from every nation, tribe, race of people, and language of the earth. They were standing before the throne and before the Lamb. They all wore white robes and had palm branches in their hands. They shouted loudly, “Victory belongs to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb.”

One day, if you trust Jesus, if you remain true and faithful to Him, you will stand in that crowd … and you’ll worship Him forever without end. Absolutely, it’s worth it!

That’s God’s Word. Fresh … for you … today.
