Jasmine Smith is a Chicago based activist that is fighting tirelessly to bring justice to victims of police torture and the wrongfully convicted. Jasmine is the co-chair of the Campaign to Free Incarcerated Survivors of Torture (CFIST), and is on the executive board of the Chicago Alliance Against Racist and Political Repression (CAARPR). In today's episode, she breaks down the history of police torture, lays out the structure of our corrupt "injustice system", and talks about the work she and her comrades in CFIST and CAARPR are doing to fight for justice.
