In This Episode: These days it seems as if the world is getting a little too ‘in their feelings’. I was watching the news a few weeks ago, and they were talking about a lady who was pissed that even though her kids didn’t make it to the top 3 in a competition, they didn’t get trophies. So she decided to buy trophies for them by herself. It got me thinking, are we (especially the people outside Africa) raising our kids to be too emotional? Are we raising them to be able to handle the real world? I don’t know about you, but I will raise my kids in the African way. To be confident in themselves whether they win or not, and to learn to work harder to achieve their goals; instead of rewarding them when they really do not deserve it. Mentioned In This Episode: 1.
