Tisha Schuller welcomes Brian Schettler, partner at AE Industrial and head of AEI HorizonX, to the Energy Thinks Podcast. Brian led the founding and rollout of AEI HorizonX as the venture capital arm of Boeing.

Brian has years of experience in aerospace, technology, and defense. He served as vice president of corporate strategy at Cobham and as manager of strategy and program operations in the Space and ISR Division at Northrop Grumman. In April 2017, he became the senior managing director of Boeing HorizonX Ventures and served in that position until August 2021 when the venture capital team created AEI HorizonX with AE Industrial. He also is the chairman of the board at Wisk, a joint venture between The Boeing Company and Kitty Hawk Corporation. Brian has an MBA from the University of Maryland and a B.S. in electrical and electronics engineering from Northwestern University.
