The missionary journeys of Paul ultimately begin with the church of Antioch discerning and submitting to the will of God, and the Lord’s call on the apostle’s life. As both Barnabas and Saul are set apart for mission, verses 1-3 remind us of Important components of the Lordship of Christ and what biblical leadership encompasses.
