In this happy hour episode, we chat about a previous book club read, Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens, which was recommended by our BFF Reese (Witherspoon). We’re riding high on the outcome of the 2020 election and our new literary tea samples gifted to us by Simpson & Vail. We touch on some criticisms of the book and some of our favorite aspects: the nature imagery, the strong female lead, and the surprises we didn’t see coming. We also definitely judged this book by its cover, and does anyone know what a crawdad really is?
