Wi-Charge cofounder shares expansion, future of wireless power for digital signage

While digital signage remains one of the most powerful tools in history for advertising and communication, there remains one great limitation to placing those screens where they are most effective: power.

For example, retailers have historically been restricted in their ability to place screens where they channel the most purchasing behavior (let alone moving those screens as needed) because of the cost in time, labor, and money for rewiring an area of a store — or, if they use batteries, the cost in labor and time in replacing those batteries, to say nothing of the consequences of unplanned downtime due to dead batteries.

This is why the wireless power revolution, spearheaded by Wi-Charge, a wireless power solutions firm, is transforming digital signage applications across retail, hospitality, and more (with ramifications for parallel applications across smart homes and other categories).
