Indigenous Christian Music with Jonathan Markey (David Snead Ukraine Missions #018)
Manage episode 337518759 series 3382511
Today's interview is with Jon Markey, a missionary and friend of mine in Ternopil, Ukraine! Jon is a pastor, songwriter, music producer, expositional Bible teacher, and an encouragement to me. In this interview, we talk about the importance of the indigenous Christian music movement here in Ukraine and why we are not content to simply "translate Hillsong" like most other churches and movements do here.
If you would like to get in touch with Jon and his family, the best way is to do that through the pages of their music movement, Room for More:

If you would like to buy the new albom, "Пісня творіння," you can here:

It's also available on Spotify, but I can't link that from Ukraine for some reason.
Please do support what they do. They are so important for Calvary Chapel and Protestant churches in general here in Ukraine. Their songs have encouraged many, even thousands of people, here.
David Snead Ukraine Missions is a podcast by David Snead, a missionary who serves with his wife, Katya, in Lviv, Ukraine. If you would like to learn more about the Sneads and their ministry to the local Ukrainian church, please check out their website: http://www.davidandkatya.com/
