To inspire, motivate people, encourage them to obey God's Word, and serve others through their gifts. Louise Harris For 30 years, Louise Harris has owned LAST Research and Editing, but before that, she worked in the journalism field after graduating from University of Maryland College of Journalism in 1989. She has written and edited blogs, Web content, press releases, newsletters, SEO content and manuscripts for both fiction and nonfiction; and writes for online and print publications. Her work has appeared in numerous print and online publications. She has interned with a television station and wrote for a radio wire service. In 2006, Louise published her first fiction novel, The 1776 Scroll. Her second novel, The 1776 Inn, was published in 2010. Louise is past president of the Howard County Chapter of Maryland Writers Association and is a former chairwoman of MWA's Program Committee. She also served as secretary of Society of Professional Journalists Maryland Pro Chapter. Currently, she is the chairwoman of the Bay Area Professional Writers Guild Inc. Member Anthology Committee. She won the Editor’s Choice Award for Poetry and is named in the book of 2007 Best Poets by Poetry.com. Her poems are featured in BAPWG's Sink or Swim: How Overcoming Obstacles Makes Life Worthwhile, published in 2016. She wrote a song at age eight and published her first poem at age 12.
