Just like many ingredients go into baking a cake, there are many elements that go into a happy life. Though after Cydni shares her story, you will be motivated to never eat anything she bakes. Happiness is not an all-or-nothing emotion. We can feel peace and sorrow at the same time. As Sher retells times as a teacher to middle school students, her day was loaded with ups and downs and with major payoffs. We will explore how so much of happiness is in our control. We will dissect temporary pleasure versus long-lasting joy and purpose. We are here on Earth to experience joy. We have it in us to make choices that will provide a happy life even during difficult times. Today’s topic is 'Happiness,' and we are so glad you are here.
This Week's Challenge
We challenge you to write down a happiness list. Write down three things that bring you happiness but don’t stop writing if more come to mind!! Keep going as they come to your mind. Pay attention to what fills your life with joy. Watch your mood and gratitude change right before your eyes.
