In this episode of Cuadros Corner I talked to local model, artist, mom and realtor, Jennifer Poppy who recently moved to the Rio Grande Valley from Hawaii about 3 years ago. She has been involved not only in helping families find their dream homes but has been a constant participant in the art scene. I would like to preface that this episode was recorded in mid July 2023 before the unfortunate fires that affected many people in Maui, Hawaii.

"Jennifer Poppy is a Native Texan, with family roots that go back here 200 years. While she loves the Lone Star State, she also has a heart of adventure and in 2012 moved to Maui, Hawaii. Making that move taught her many things, including how to live more simply, stay connected with nature and the independence of living on the most remote island chain in the world.

Jennifer moved to the valley in 2021, along with her three children. Since moving to McAllen, she’s met many creatives, artists and entrepreneurs. She’s a real estate agent as well as an artist and model. She’s passionate about connecting with people & building strong ties in her community through her work and life."
