Indiana traveled to East Lansing, to face what many pundits thought would be a trap game. Instead, it was a complete destruction of Michigan State, as Indiana overcame a slow start to beat the Spartans 47-10. The Hoosiers got perhaps their best defensive performance of the year, and QB Kurtis Rourke recovered from a thumb injury to throw four touchdown passes.
