Based on a recent report, 1 in 4 teenagers want to be social media influencers someday. In a world of fake news, phishing scams, and so much online spam, how does a digital generation truly learn to navigate their world with wisdom? Let’s talk about it in our next installment of our standalone talks called Elevate. The truth is, we all want to help teenagers navigate their current realities, which means starting a conversation about consuming, creating, and sharing online content responsibly is a key part of helping students build a resilient everyday faith. In this week on media literacy, we’ll open up the conversation about what it means to be a responsible digital citizen. It’s time for students to elevate the conversation on media literacy!

This is the student ministry of Cornerstone Church in Southern Illinois.
