Jesus went about preaching about the kingdom, doing good, and healing all who the devil oppressed. The Son of God was manifest to destroy the devil's works (sin, sickness, death). That is the true Gospel of our Lord, Who is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Isaiah said of Him, "by His stripes, we are healed. "Are" is perpetually present tense in this text. Peter said of Him, "by His stripes, you were healed." Meaning past tense, healing has been accomplished and completed through the atonement. Your healing was purchased in totality on the cross.
