In this episode, we delve deeper into Moses' teachings from Deuteronomy 3, starting with the victory over Og, the king of Bashan. We highlight God's faithful deliverance of Israel, fulfilling His promise despite the intimidating presence of giants like Og. The importance of remembering God's victories is emphasized through multiple scriptural references, reminding us of His mercy and power.
Next, we explore the request of the tribes of Reuben and Gad to settle on the east side of the Jordan. Though granted this inheritance, they were still called to assist their brethren in warfare until all had received their promised land. This principle extends to us in our spiritual journey, where we must wait for God’s rest and support one another in battle.
Finally, we are called to reflect on God's mercy, praise Him for His mighty works, and trust in His promises, just as the Israelites did.
