Many of us listen to podcasts and take in a variety of content, and personal growth content is extremely influential right now, even for Christians. Personally, I read a lot of books, listen to a lot of podcasts and generally consume a lot of content. Some of the secular personal growth content I consume has been very helpful to my life and even my relationship with God. However, it’s important to have the right mental framework for these materials, especially for Christians trying to follow God’s plan for their lives. In this message I discuss some of my personal experiences with secular personal growth content and entertainment, and how I make sure these sources add to my life for God’s Kingdom and don’t pull me in the wrong direction.
