She is trailblazing the funeral industry in being the first Muslim and African American Woman to pioneer virtual funeral and memorial services. Tahirah is in a league of her own. She also founded Muslim Widow, a grief recovery workshop and support group for Muslim women and women of faith. This is the only workshop and support group that exists for Muslim widows globally. She is also the 1st place prize winner in the Operation HOPE pitch contest, winning $15,000 in prize money. She is also the winner of the 15 Week Build Your Boss Biz $1500 Grant. She crowdfunded on Launchgood and raised over $20k in 30 days in support of Muslim Widow support group and raised awareness about Hearts Connecting and Virtual funeral and Janazah services and so much more. A total of almost $40k for her business Mashallah! She has taken this life-altering experience combined with her 15 years of success coaching and leadership experience to create a life-altering coaching program Transcending Grief Through Growth, for those who have lost loved ones.
