Blatto is a White Woman. While in college, Blatto authored the 2018 report: A City Divided: A Brief History of Segregation in Buffalo. The report details a long deliberate, effort on the part of people classified as White to mistreat and subjugate black residents of west New York. This information helps explain the region where Payton Gendron hunted and killed ten black people at an east Buffalo Tops grocery store. We'll discuss the reasons why black people in Buffalo were victims of White Terrorism decades before Gendron was born.
