This week we’re joined by new PSIA-AASI Snowboard Team Member, Jesse Yedwab! Jesse is a Snowboard and Freestyle Examiner in the RM Region, and an experienced freestyle coach. We took this opportunity to dive into the sometimes confusing world of freestyle trick names, including the differences and similarities between frontside and backside for calling spins vs rails, as well as the difference between boardslides and lipslides!

Don’t forget, our giveaway courtesy of WSI Sports is still on! Check the instagram to find out how you can enter for a chance to win a $100 gift card!

The snowboard podcast All I Really Need to Know I Learned from Snowboarding is a weekly podcast with AASI Snowboard National Team Members Chris Rogers, Matt Larson, and Brian Donovan. Tune in each week as we discuss snowboarding, snowsports instruction, instructor certification, and how, well, basically, we learned everything we need to know from snowboarding!
