Ben Butcher gets paid to play with toys for a living ... Pretty sweet gig, huh?
Butcher is SVP of Creative for Funko, LLC., the Everett, WA based juggernaut that is "one of the leading creators and innovators of licensed pop culture products to a diverse range of consumers. Funko designs, sources and distributes highly collectible products across multiple categories including vinyl figures, action toys, plush, apparel, housewares and accessories."
A 20 year veteran of the licensed product business that "has worked on all sides of the process," Butcher – a native of Tacoma, WA – joined Funko in 2013. Before joining Funko he spent the previous 11 years working as the Creative Director of Consumer Products for Pixar Animation Studios ... Yes, THAT Pixar Animation Studios.
