It's starting to get chilly over here at Swift and Swigs. Taylor's first ever vulnerable track 5 had us swigging and swifting over young Taylor's song-writing, and the questionable boys she fell for. But first, we react on-air to the Grammy nominations!!! Some of the nominees did not surprise us. Others certainly did! We are so excited to continue talking about the upcoming Grammys in future episodes leading to the big night on 2/2/25. The "new shit" was actually a grammy nominee and a recurring band that we love to discuss on this podcast! Sam took the easy route with his cocktail, and Rachel took an autumnal and very cold route with hers. Then we start to break down the song that made Taylor so frustrated during her teenaged years. We learn what Taylor valued in a relationship back then and we compare it to her songwriting themes of current songs. The mashup options seemed almost endless for this one!
