Today's Special Episode is still so sensitive and taboo amongst the first responder career. As you know we have learned about addiction and addiction recovery from some of our past guests, and how it impacted their personal and professional lives. However, our guest today's personal addiction journey is actually very enlightening and inspiring. Jeff, a 22-year veteran law enforcement officer, will share his battle with addiction during his career, the impact it had on his family, and how he ultimately overcame it. His passion for sharing his story in the hopes that it will help others in this struggle, led to his the publishing of his first book, "Sober from Sin." It chronicles the source of his issues to include his career and childhood traumas, and the ugly side of his struggles.
