We explore Becky's experiences seeing the Kandy Kanes, being inspired by Debbie Campbell as a singer and guitarist in the all-girl band, and how she transitioned from playing with an all-female rock band to becoming a renowned songwriter.

We take you on a journey through the life of the band Buckwheat through the eyes of bassist Marc Durham. Discover how the band evolved from its early days with Jim Edgar and the Roadrunners to its transformation into Buckwheat, and how it ultimately fell apart.
You'll get a glimpse into their incredible journey, the challenges they faced, and the moments of success that defined their career, from their big break with London Records to the evolution of their music across their four album career.
Act 3:
In the final part of this episode, we delve deep into Debbie's story, which revolves around her first drink and her subsequent alcoholism. Her story highlights how alcohol can become a crutch, a way to mask pain, and a path to addiction. From the moment she took her first drink, Debbie's life changed forever and her journey is a powerful reminder of the devastating effects of addiction and the importance of seeking help and support to overcome it.
