[DISCLAIMER / SOURCE: This 'on the move' episode, recorded in the latter part of 2022 was quietly uploaded back then to Jason Verney's "F.L.I.C.K.S." podcast (available across all good audio platforms), but never made public on YouTube.
It was being held back so that part or all of it can be included in our "Not So Korean Podcast" and although some/all of it may appear in a much later episode of that 'NoSoKoPo' I couldn't hold it up any longer. After all, there is a backload of similar "Not So Korean Podcast" episodes and new ones in the pipeline... and some consistency in the "F.L.I.C.K.S." podcast listings and order.

Jason reflects on his 8th trip to Korea, the efforts of travelling during the 'global situation' in 2022, the held for Korea and also Thailand & elsewhere, film festivals where JV's "Reparation" film played in South Korea, new areas of Seoul [new to Jason, at least: Miasageori, Gireum, Jeungsan area (?!)] and new parts of Korea itself. Also spoken of is Korea activism, creativity and hearts of Koreans.
Recorded in Seoul, South Korea on 8th September 2022.

S." is the new name for what was known as "Jason Verney's PLODCAST". Previous potential comic titles for this podcast were Prodcast*, Probcast** and Oddcast*** but the original name of "Plodcast" was used. *
To represent 'still in Production' ** For either 'Problematic' or 'Probably' *** Simply because it's all kind of 'Odd' PLODCAST, although probably in existent by other broadcasters, was thought most apt... Not so much due to the fact that the podcast itself is slow, plodding or boring (well, you can be the judge of that!) but indicating that the Korean documentary, and other filmic projects are slowly, but surely on their way! "F. L. I. C. K. S." was more recently thought of a more memorable and relevant name & not only indicates that it's related to movies but also spells out what else it covers: Films; Life; Interviews; Camera; Korea; Sounds.
Jason Verney is an independent filmmaker and journalist, whose websites (and company/ies) include Native Nomad Pictures Limited and MiniMiniMovie.com & is also proud co-founder of the London Asian Film Society.
