The Mad Centrist - The political podcast for the rest of us.
The MAD Centrist – named after the Kurt Vonnegut quote from The Monkey House, “A sane person to an insane society must appear insane.”
When did ethics so thoroughly leave the world of politics? Specifically, when did it leave the one branch of government supposedly immune to the baser qualities involved in the sport of politics? The Supreme Court was supposed to be the branch of government beyond reproach - that was the reason for lifetime appointments.
The Supreme Court is not what it used to be. Or, actually, perhaps it is.
This week we talk politics, ethics, the Supreme Court, and throw in some history.
