The much anticipated series Star Wars: The Bad Batch from creators Dave Filoni
and Jennifer Corbett debuted on May 4th and The Geek Buddies with special guest Laura Kelly are here with their spoiler review for Episode 1!
While assisting Jedi Knights Depa Billaba and Caleb Dume on Kaller, Clone Captain Grey receives Order 66. The Bad Batch overhears the order, but they feel no compulsion to execute it. Back on Kamino, the Bad Batch encounters Omega, a young female clone. Admiral Tarkin later arrives to evaluate the clone army, and after receiving Crosshair's report on Kaller, he sends the Bad Batch to Onderon to eliminate a group of alleged insurgents. When the "insurgents" are revealed as fugitives from the Empire led by Saw Gerrera, the Bad Batch decides to go rogue, but are captured when returning to Kamino for Omega. The show stars Dee Bradley Baker, Michelle Ang, Archie Panjabi, Freddie Prinze Jr., Tom Kane, Stephen Stanton, and Ming-Na Wen.
