Shirlene is a professional dancer, choreographer and teacher, she has also had a profound spiritual and creative journey that has shaped her career and life. Born and raised in Los Angeles, Shirlene's career took off at just 18 years old when she booked her first job as one of the original uhh ohh girls in Beyoncé’s “Crazy in Love” music video.
Since then, she has traveled the world and worked with some of the biggest names in the music industry including Lizzo, Rihanna, Missy Elliot, Jamie Foxx, and more. She's also made appearances on television, film, and commercials. You may have even caught her in Amazon’s Prime series, “watch out for the big grrrls”, or on Lizzo's HBO “special” tour.
