A crisis is an opportunity to see who Christ is, and is also a hidden opportunity. Nothing catches God by surprise. The story of Joseph examples this. Nothing causes us from what we are to do and be here on the earth. Joseph was attacked, but he had a dream -- and God sustained him through His plan. Fear is false evidence that appears real. Psalms 46 says, "God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear ..." Nothing catches God by surprise. This is a time when God will visit His people afresh and anew. This is a time when we need to love and reach out to others. God wants to release joy into people during this time. God wants to speak to you during this time. The Holy Spirit is an available counselor. God will provide a way of escape so that you will be able to endure. Psalms 121 says, "I will lift up my eyes to the hills—From whence comes my help? My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth." Remember in this season how big God is. Your help comes from the Lord who made the earth. 2 Timothy 1:7 says, "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind."
