In this Discourse Shaykh Fadhlalla uses key verses from Surah Al Fatir ‘the crack’ in discussing Flexibility, rigidity, diversity in Islam. Some of the important Questions contouring this discourse include: what is the relationship between culture and, habit; traditions and spiritual essence. What is the meaning of diversities relevant to the all-encompassing Unified field. The foundation of the Din is that all human beings are seeking struggling, striving to discover live by that truth. We are here as stewards practicing and perfecting our resonance with that reality as part of the evolutionary rise back to that state after death. We all seek that total knowledge that all of it is from the one by the one, the outer incrustation otherness, dualities and pluralities are layers of encrustation upon that light. Shaykh Fadhlalla further elaborates on the historical period in which the Muhammadi message occurs and the relevance of a renewal of the message of Unity in a period that was ready for a fruition in spiritual growth. Many of the inheritors of the Abrahamic message had bifurcated into diverse currents. The essential Islamic message and was a clarification and culmination of all that came before. All human beings carry the Adamic blueprint – all human beings have been imprinted by the eternal presence. We are driven towards the best in comfort, ease relationships harmony and smooth passage in life. This talk emphasizes the need and role of boundaries in spiritual maturation and living a fulfilled life.
