Long ago, before we started turning spare bedrooms or breakfast tables into makeshift offices, remote work had begun. But, it wasn't accepted much, since we were still attuned to looking over the shoulder of our employees, a habit from the industrial era. Then the pandemic hit and remote work became our reality out of necessity. We learned to trust employees and treat them as mature individuals who can take responsibility for their work.
