We spoke to the cast & crew of Lanford Wilson's Balm in Gilead, the final drama production of the Spring term directed by Joseph Blatchley. Cast members Mairi Hawthorn, Ruth Ollman and Fode Simbo, lighting designer Jess Bernberg and sound designer Tom Bosworth joined us to discuss the play, what's inspired them in preparing for the production (including an extensive film list), and some of the challenges of working on a play with multiple on-set conversations happening at the same time.
