Barry first found music when he borrowed his sister's record collection when he was about eight and was hooked. When Caroline started it was a new beginning, and he listened to all the stations, but Caroline was his favourite by far. Later he became a singer in a band, then started doing discos when he was 18. We are only one day away from one of the best times of the year, Halloween. As we do each and every year on THE FLAGSHIP SHOW on the CINEMATIC SOUND RADIO NETWORK, we present a program dedicated the horror films; a genre which looks very kindly towards the composers writing the scores for them. A genre that essentially allows a composer to really express themselves and are encouraged to be heard and to manipulate the audience as much as possible.
We have another outstanding line-up of scary scores to play for you; new and old including selections from THE HOUSE ON HAUNTED HILL (Davis), THE EMPTY MAN (Young), SCARY MOVIE (Kitay), I KNOW WHAT YOU DID LAST SUMMER (Debney), RAWHEAD REX (Towns), VILLAGE OF THE DAMNED (Carpenter/Davis), THE HAUNTING (Searle), HORRORS OF THE BLACK MUSEUM (Schurmann) and THE MEDUSA TOUCH (Lewis)
