God instructed the priests not to wear wool in the Holy Place because it causes sweat. Sweat symbolizes the flesh and human effort and results from the curse. The flesh cannot receive from God because it is contrary to the Spirit. We desperately seek opportunities instead of desperately seeking Him most of the time. We position ourselves to obtain open doors from the Lord by waiting on Him. Waiting is not figurative but literal. The Hebrew word qavah means to "lie in wait for," "linger with," and "to bind together." When we focus on our relationship with the Lord by waiting on Him in fellowship, we bind ourselves together with His will and ways. When we work, we work. When we wait, He works.
