Germany kicked off the first game of Hansi Flick’s tenure with a 1-0 over Liechtenstein. Many people were eager to see what Flick’s version of Die Mannschaft would look like and those eager to see the post-Joachim Löw era start.

Germany was thoroughly dominant in possessing the ball and looked to be constantly seeking ways to break through Liechtenstein.

Overall, it was a good start for Germany under Flick and while Liechtenstein is not exactly a world power, the feeling of positivity during and after the match was a breath of fresh air.
