On episode #60 of the Advance Oakland Lifeline podcast, host Shane Trejo exposes how Oakland County board of commissioners chairman David Woodward is attempting to hold senior transit hostage to coerce voters into supporting his transit property tax hike. Advance Oakland published a news release exposing Woodward's lies and shows how Republican commissioners are fighting to save transit for seniors while not instituting huge new property taxes. Also, a Stop the Transit Tax fundraiser will be held this Sunday, Oct. 9 between 4 and 6pm at Hoffman Farms in Highland Township. Tickets are $50, or $80 for two, and will be available at the door.
